My Story

Every year during the Christmas holidays my Mom and Granny (yes, that’s me sitting at Granny’s knee!) would bake fruitcakes at home in Tuskegee, Alabama using Granny’s special recipe. Mom moved to Los Angeles where she continued the holiday tradition. Every year there were more and more requests for the cakes, so Mom and I launched our fruitcake business selling to specialty retailers in the Los Angeles area.

In time Mom retired from the business and I went to study pastry in France becoming a pastry chef in the San Francisco area. Still I always knew Granny’s fruitcake was truly special and eventually I started my own business selling Love Cakes.

Wanting to expand my business, I created Love Crisps a crispy take on Love Cakes. My crisps are a yummy combination of sweet and savory using the spices and fruits I use in the Love Cakes. Love Crisps are meant to be savored with wine and cheese or simply enjoyed with coffee or tea. Join me and savor our wonderful family tradition!
